As we end the year 2012, we are still all alive and kicking despite the end of the world forecasts. And so as we finish off the old and prepare to usher in the new, we are often given to reflect on the year behind us to assess our success, accomplishments and struggles!
For me, one of those areas is my family budget. Assessing what worked and what didn't work. And trimming what needs to be trimmed.
Did you know that the average family budget for food for a family of four in BC in $686.50. And an average additional 33% or 286.00 is spent eating out a month. That includes lunches, dinners, fast food and coffees.
Did you know that childhood obesity rates in BC are at 31.5%? And Canadian Adult Obesity rates range from 19% in BC to 38% in Labrador and Newfoundland.
Now what if you could take that 286.00 for one month and re-invest it in something that within three months of daily active use, will provide a healthy lifestyle for you and your family. I include family in this because we all know that children model after their parents.
Well now you can, all for the cost of one month's dining out budget!
This is about my story and journey to become fit and healthy and my efforts to help others do the same!!!!!
