Yes after much delay, my Slim in 6 journey is truly starting. I ran into a number of unaccounted for roadblocks.
But today it began. I got into my gear, took my before shots and hunkered down. Although I am eating according to the guidelines, it is not complete. By that I mean that I have leftovers clean eating onion soup for dinner tonight, so the completely guided eating will begin tomorrow.
So this am I weighed in at 155.2 lbs.
This is my before Slim in 6 shots.
My measurements are as follows: chest 39" waist 40" hips 41.5" thighs both 24 " arms both 12 "
So for the next six weeks, I will be pushing play every day twice a day and come out of it an entirely different person. I am not simply doing this for weight loss. I am also doing this a means to combat SAD and depression. I decided that 2013 needs to be a new year for me. New things in store, new jobs, new adventures all packaged in a new me: physically, mentally and emotionally.
I am tired of being victim to my past and so I have chosen this year to be the beginning of NEW!

Cruising in 2014!!!!
So this is my exciting news! In a year that's already so full of promise, I have been invited to participate in earning my way into a week long vacation on this cruise! But this wouldn't be just for me, this is also for my kids. I am so excited because this runs right into my birthday! This would be the best present ever!!! A week long cruise for me and my kids!!! I am SUPER excited!!!! This could be yours too......

Gym Memberships and New Years!
The New Year is here! The New Year is here! Can you believe that the New Year is here???!!!!
And that means resolutions. Or as I prefer to call them goals and priorities.
And if you are like many of us, although you may have not voiced it, your weight, and health have crossed your mind in the last few days.
And what are you to do? A gym membership? With all the new "known athlete" gyms springing up in the recent months (at least here in BC), a gym membership is enticing.
But let's be real. How often are you REALLY going to go?
"Every day!" I hear you say.
Really?
"OK, maybe not but DEFINITELY three times a week."
Ok, you may start off that way, but are you REALLY going to do that the WHOLE year?
I know I was going to! I KNOW my intentions were to do just that. I also know that THAT didn't happen. In fact, not so long ago, I don't think I even made a month but I had signed a year long contract.
And so I ask you to be honest and authentic with yourself. Are you really going to commit to a entire year of ensuring you get yourself to the gym?
If you are starting to wonder if you will, think about this. On an annual basis, gym memberships cost roughly $800.00 once you include monthly fees and initiation fees.
Are you really willing to throw $800 a year away?
